Submission Requirements
Veritas Socialis et Legalis (Veritas Soc. Leg.) publishes original, high-quality scholarly works in the fields of Social Sciences, Law, Political Studies, Governance, Public Policy, Regulation, Human Rights, and interdisciplinary socio-legal studies. Manuscripts must present significant theoretical, empirical, or policy contributions and comply with international standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.
Types of Manuscripts
Original Research Articles
Empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, doctrinal, comparative, or interdisciplinary approaches.
6,000–10,000 wordsReview Articles
Comprehensive and critical reviews synthesizing current scholarship.
7,000–12,000 wordsSystematic Literature Reviews
PRISMA 2020, ROSES, JBI, or Campbell-based review studies.
Policy Analysis Papers
Evidence-based policy and governance analyses.
Comparative Studies
Cross-country, cross-sectoral, and comparative legal analyses.
Conceptual Papers
Theoretical and framework development studies.

- Minimum 25 references for research articles.
- At least 80% journal references.
- Preferably from Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals.
- Most references should be published within the last 5 years.
Tables, Figures, and Illustrations
- Number consecutively.
- Provide clear captions and titles.
- High-resolution graphics only.
- Minimum resolution: 300 dpi.
- Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, TIFF, SVG.
Publication Ethics
The journal adheres to the principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), ICMJE recommendations, and international standards of scholarly publishing.
- Original and unpublished work only.
- No simultaneous submissions.
- Accurate reporting of research findings.
- Proper acknowledgment of sources.
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Authors may use AI-assisted tools for language editing and manuscript preparation. However, AI systems cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content.
