Fee Policy (Article Processing Charge / APC)

INSPIRETECH GLOBAL INSIGHT applies a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) model to support sustainable, high-quality scholarly publishing. All journals under INSPIRETECH GLOBAL INSIGHT are APC-based. Editorial decisions are independent and are never influenced by an author’s ability to pay.
Key Principles (Scopus/WoS-aligned)
  • Transparency: APC information is clearly stated on the journal website.
  • No pay-for-acceptance: peer review and editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance.
  • APC charged after acceptance: payment is requested only after the final acceptance decision.
  • Waivers are independent: waiver/discount requests are handled separately from editorial assessment.

The APC is applied only after final acceptance. Submitting a manuscript is free of charge.

What the APC Covers
The APC supports:
  • Editorial handling and peer review administration
  • Copyediting and layout/production (as applicable)
  • Online hosting and platform maintenance
  • Metadata management and long-term discoverability support
  • Post-publication stewardship (corrections/updates when needed)
Waiver and Discount Criteria
INSPIRETECH GLOBAL INSIGHT provides waivers/discounts to support fairness and inclusivity. Waiver requests are assessed independently from editorial evaluation and must be submitted at submission (or no later than the first revision decision) to avoid conflicts of interest.
Eligibility (examples)
  • Financial hardship: no research funding and no institutional APC support.
  • Low- and lower-middle-income contexts: based on widely recognized classifications (e.g., World Bank).
  • Institutional partnership / special programs: partner institutions, conference collaborations, or approved initiatives.
  • Exceptional editorial invitation: invited papers where a formal waiver program is announced.
Waiver Levels
  • Full waiver: 100% (APC = USD 0)
  • Partial waiver: 25–75% discount (case-based)
Required Documentation (simple)
  • Brief request letter explaining the reason
  • Evidence of limited funding/support (optional but recommended)
Important: Waiver requests do not affect peer review, acceptance decisions, editorial timelines, or publication priority.
Refund and Withdrawal Rules
We aim to be fair while covering legitimate publishing costs once services have been delivered. Refund decisions follow the stages below.
Stage Refund Policy (APC = USD 50)
Before payment is made No refund is needed because no payment has been collected.
After payment, before production starts Full refund (100%) if the article is withdrawn or canceled before copyediting/layout/DOI/online production begins.
After production has started Partial refund (up to 50%) may be provided if withdrawal occurs after production has started but before online publication, depending on completed services.
After publication (version of record posted online) No refund once the article is published because publishing and dissemination services have been delivered.
Retractions or corrections Retraction/correction due to integrity issues does not automatically entitle authors to a refund.
Administrative errors Full refund for duplicate payments or billing mistakes.
Withdrawal Policy
Authors who wish to withdraw must submit a written request to the editorial office. Withdrawals are confirmed only when acknowledged by the journal.
