Journal of Foundational Learning and Child Development | Childdev Journal (J. Found. Learn. Child Dev.) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal committed to publishing high-quality and impactful scholarship in foundational learning, child development, and early years education. The journal serves as a rigorous platform for researchers, teacher educators, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original studies, critical reviews, and evidence-informed discussions that advance knowledge on children’s learning and developmental trajectories from birth to 8 years.
The journal welcomes submissions from diverse methodological and theoretical perspectives, including empirical research, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, conceptual papers, Community Service Articles and policy studies. The  Childdev Journal section contains fully peer-reviewed and accepted articles that have completed the editorial and ethical evaluation process according to COPE guidelines. These articles have been assigned a DOI and are immediately accessible to the public to accelerate scientific dissemination. The final formatted versions will appear in upcoming issues of Childdev Journal. Minor copyediting or layout adjustments may still occur, but the scientific content is considered final.
